في زيارة تعد من البادرات الملفتة والمهمة، التقى الأستاذ الدكتور محمد ضياء زين العابدين، رئيس جامعة عين شمس، مع الأستاذ الدكتور محمود المتيني، رئيس جامعة عين شمس السابق، بفريق من باريس يمثلهم البروفيسور فيليب روزنيفيسكي، عميد كلية الطب بجامعة باريس سيتيه، برئاسة إيريك شوفالييه، سفير فرنسا بالقاهرة، والأستاذ الدكتور علاء الغنيمي، أستاذ جراحة بجامعة باريس سيتيه. وذلك بحضور الأستاذ الدكتور علي الأنور، عميد كلية الطب للمستشفيات، والأستاذ الدكتور طارق يوسف، المدير التنفيذي للمستشفيات، والأستاذ الدكتور عصام فخري، مساعد المدير التنفيذي للمستشفيات، والأستاذة الدكتورة شهيرة سمير، المدير التنفيذي لقطاع العلاقات الدولية والتعاون الأكاديمي.
خلال الزيارة، عقدت جلسات تعارف ومناقشات تهدف إلى دعم مبادرة إنشاء برنامج طبي فرنسي في جامعة عين شمس، وتأكيد التعاون المشترك بين الطرفين. تركزت الجلسات على تبادل الخبرات في مجال الطب والتعليم الطبي، حيث قدم الفريق المصري بقيادة الأستاذ الدكتور محمد ضياء زين العابدين عروضاً مفصلة حول برامجهم ورؤيتهم للتعليم الطبي في مصر. بينما قدمت جامعة باريس سيتيه، ممثلة بالبروفيسور فيليب روزنيفيسكي، رؤية مستقبلية وخطط عمل واضحة لتنفيذ البرنامج المشترك.
تضمنت الزيارة جولات استكشافية في كلية الطب والمستشفيات برفقة الأستاذ الدكتور علي الأنور، عميد كلية الطب للمستشفيات، والأستاذ الدكتور طارق يوسف، المدير التنفيذي للمستشفيات. وناقش الجانبان، ممثلان بالأستاذ الدكتور محمد ضياء زين العابدين والأستاذ الدكتور فيليب روزنيفيسكي، الخطوات اللازمة لإنشاء برنامج الطب الفرنسي بجامعة عين شمس، إلى جانب التحديات والفرص الواعدة.
في ختام الزيارة، تم تقديم خطوات واضحة وتم تبادل الاتفاقيات الأولية للتعاون المشترك. وأكدت جامعة عين شمس، ممثلة برئيسها الأستاذ الدكتور محمد ضياء زين العابدين، حرصها على إنشاء برنامج الطب باللغة الفرنسية. وذلك للاستفادة من الخبرات الرائدة التي تتمتع بها فرنسا في مجال الطب على مستوى العالم. مما يسهم في تطوير نظام التعليم الطبي في مصر وتحسين منظومة الرعاية الصحية الشاملة في المستقبل.
In a noteworthy and important visit, Professor Mohamed Diaa Zain Al-Abidin, President of Ain Shams University, with Professor Mahmoud El-Metini, former President of Ain Shams University, met with a team from Paris represented by Professor Philippe Ruszniewski, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Paris Cité University. The delegation also included Eric Chevalier, French Ambassador to Cairo, and included Professor Alaa Al-Ghnaimi, Professor of Surgery at Paris Cité University. The meeting was attended by Professor Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Hospitals; Professor Tarek Youssef, Executive Director of Hospitals; Professor Essam Fakhry, Assistant Executive Director of Hospitals; and Professor Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector.
During the visit, there were introductory sessions and discussions aimed at supporting the initiative to establish a French medical program at Ain Shams University and strengthening the joint cooperation between the two parties. The sessions focused on exchanging experiences in the field of medicine and medical education. The Egyptian team, led by Professor Mohamed Diaa Zain Al-Abidin, presented detailed presentations about their programs and their vision for medical education in Egypt. Meanwhile, Paris Cité University, represented by Professor Philippe Ruszniewski, presented a future vision and clear action plans for implementing the joint program.
The visit included exploratory tours of the Faculty of Medicine and hospitals, accompanied by Professor Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Hospitals, and Professor Tarek Youssef, Executive Director of Hospitals. Representing their respective institutions, Professor Mohamed Diaa Zain Al-Abidin and Professor Philippe Ruszniewski discussed the necessary steps to establish the French medical program at Ain Shams University, along with the promising challenges and opportunities.
At the conclusion of the visit, clear steps were presented and preliminary cooperation agreements were exchanged. Ain Shams University, represented by its President Professor Mohamed Diaa Zain Al-Abidin, emphasized its commitment to establishing a French-language medical program. This initiative aims to benefit from the leading expertise that France enjoys in the field of medicine worldwide. This will contribute to the development of the medical education system in Egypt and the improvement of the comprehensive healthcare system in the future.
