في إطار الخطة الاستراتيجية لجامعة عين شمس ودعما للمشروعات البحثية التي تقع في نطاق اهداف الخطة البحثية للجامعة لتحقيق اهداف التنمية المستدامة وللارتقاء بالبحث العلمي والنشر الدولي بالجامعة, قامت إدارة المنح والمشروعات بقطاع العلاقات الدولية والتعاون الاكاديمي بالجامعة بالإعلان عن فرص تمويل المشروعات البحثية بالجامعة علي الموقع الالكتروني

للسادة أعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة بالجامعة والتي تمولها الجامعة بمبلغ 100 الف جنية في حاله قيام احد الكليات او اقسام بنفس الكلية بالاشتراك في احدي المشروعات البحثية وبقيمة 300 الف جنية في حالة تعاون اكثر من كلية داخل جامعة عين شمس. وحصل أعضاء هيئة التدريس بكليات الهندسة والصيدلة والعلوم والطب والحاسبات والمعلومات والبنات والتربية علي تمويل للمشروعات المقترحة في دورتها الحالية بقيمة تتجاوز 2 مليون جنية مصري.
يتم اتاحة التقديم خلال شهر مايو من كل عام علي نماذج محددة تتضمن وصف للمشروع ومخرجاته والخطة الزمنية للتنفيذ وتوزيع الميزانية علي أنشطة المشروع وسيرة ذاتية لكافة أعضاء الفريق البحثي وتخضع المقترحات البحثية بعد ذلك لعديد من عمليات التنقيح والتصفية والتي تنتهي بعرض المقترحات علي نخبة من محكمي جامعة عين شمس في نفس مجال التخصص للتأكد من مطابقتها للشروط والمعايير الموضوعة وتحقيقها لأهداف الخطة البحثية للجامعة .
ويتم تمويل المشروعات من خلال الموازنة العامة بالجامعة ولا يشترط سوا تحقيق مخرجات البحث والنشر الدولي بإحدى المجلات الدولية وتقوم إدارة المنح والمشروعات بقطاع العلاقات الدولية والتعاون الأكاديمي بالجامعة بالتيسير علي السادة أعضاء هيئة التدريس الحاصلين علي تلك التمويلات من خلال تلقي طلبات الشراء الخاصة بهم وتعديل بنود الصرف ومخاطبة الموازنة العامة لتحويل المبالغ الخاصة بكل مشروع للوحدة الحسابية الخاصة بكلية الباحث الرئيسي. وتستمر المشروعات لمدة 12 شهر ويجوز مد المشروع لمدة 6 أشهر اخري بدون تمويل على ان يتقدم الباحث بطلب الي إدارة المنح والمشروعات قبل انتهاء وقت المشروع بشهرين على الأقل موضحا به سبب المد.
Within the framework of the strategic plan of Ain Shams University and in support of research projects that fall within the scope of the objectives of the university’s research plan to achieve sustainable development goals and to advance scientific research and international publishing at the university, the Grants Office in the International Relations and Academic Collaboration Sector at the university announced opportunities to finance research projects at the university on the website:

The application is open for all staff members, funded by the university in the amount of 100K if one of the faculties or departments in the same faculty participates in a research project, and 300K in the case of cooperation of more than one faculty within Ain Shams University. Faculty members in engineering, pharmacy, science, medicine, computers and information, girls, and education received funding for the projects proposed in its current call at a value exceeding 2 million Egyptian pounds.
The call is open annually during May and requires specific forms that include a description of the project, its outputs, the time plan for implementation, budget distribution over the project activities, and a CV for all members of the research team. The research proposals are then subjected to several refinement and filtering processes, which end with the proposals being presented to an experienced committee in the same field of specialization to ensure that they conform to the established conditions and standards and achieve the objectives of the university’s research plan.
Projects are financed through the general budget of the university, and the only requirement is achieving research outcomes and international publication in one of the international journals. The Grants Office facilitates the process for the faculty members who obtain these funds by receiving their purchase requests, amending the disbursement terms, and addressing the general budget to transfer the amounts for each project to the accounting unit of the principal investigator’s faculty. The projects will last for 12 months, and may be extended for another 6 months without funding, provided that the researcher submits a request to the Grants Office at least two months before the end of the project, explaining the reason for the extension.
