في لقاء يعكس حرص جامعة عين شمس على تعزيز علاقاتها الدولية وتوسيع آفاق التعاون الأكاديمي، استقبل الأستاذ الدكتور محمد ضياء زين العابدين، رئيس الجامعة، وفداً رفيع المستوى من جمهورية تشاد برئاسة السيد تشوناي اليمي، سفير جمهورية تشاد. حضرت اللقاء الأستاذة الدكتورة غادة فاروق، نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة، والأستاذة الدكتورة شهيرة سمير، المدير التنفيذي لقطاع العلاقات الدولية والتعاون الأكاديمي، والأستاذة الدكتورة شيرويت الأحمدي، مدير إدارة الوافدين والأساتذة الزائرين بالجامعة. ضم وفد جمهورية تشاد السيد حسن يعقوب، سكرتير أول السفارة، والسيد هاني علي أبو الكاس، مستشار السفير، والسيد نبيل نصر، مستشار السفير.
هدفت الزيارة إلى تعزيز العلاقات الثقافية والأكاديمية بين البلدين الشقيقين، حيث جرى خلال اللقاء مناقشة آفاق التعاون المشترك بين جامعة عين شمس والجامعات التشادية في مختلف المجالات الأكاديمية والبحثية. شملت مجالات التعاون المقترحة تبادل الخبرات في مجال التعليم العالي، بما يشمل برامج تدريبية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس في الجامعات التشادية، وتبادل الطلاب والأساتذة بين الجامعتين. كما تم التركيز على تعزيز التعاون في المجالات الطبية، وطب البيطري، والزراعة، والاستفادة من خبرات جامعة عين شمس المتميزة في هذه المجالات.
وفي ختام اللقاء، اتفق الطرفان على عقد المزيد من اللقاءات لتطوير تصور شامل لآفاق التعاون الممكنة بين جامعة عين شمس والجامعات التشادية. تأتي هذه الزيارة في إطار جهود جامعة عين شمس الدؤوبة لتوسيع وتعزيز شبكة التعاون الدولي مع الدول الشقيقة والصديقة، إيمانًا منها بأهمية التبادل العلمي والثقافي في بناء جسور التفاهم وتعزيز التعاون البناء بين الشعوب.
Reflecting Ain Shams University's commitment to strengthening international relations and expanding academic cooperation opportunities, Professor Mohamed Diaa Zain Al-Abidin, President of the University, welcomed a high-level delegation from the Republic of Chad led by Mr. Chounary El-Yemi, Ambassador of the Republic of Chad.
The meeting was attended by Professor Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; Professor Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector; and Professor Sherweit ElAhmady, Director of the International Student Mobility Office at the University. The delegation from the Republic of Chad included Mr. Hassan Yaqoub, First Secretary of the Embassy; Mr. Hani Ali Abu Al-Kas, Advisor to the Ambassador; and Mr. Nabil Nasr, Advisor to the Ambassador.
The visit aimed to strengthen cultural and academic relations between the two sisterly countries. During the meeting, discussions focused on exploring avenues for joint cooperation between Ain Shams University and Chadian universities in various academic and research fields. The proposed areas of cooperation included the exchange of expertise in higher education, encompassing training programs for faculty members at Chadian universities, and student and faculty exchange between the two universities. Furthermore, the discussions emphasized strengthening cooperation in the fields of medicine, veterinary medicine, and agriculture, leveraging the distinguished expertise of Ain Shams University in these areas. The discussions also explored ways to enhance cultural exchange and organize joint events, including the initiative of sending medical convoys from Ain Shams University to Chad.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties agreed to hold further meetings to develop a comprehensive plan for potential cooperation between Ain Shams University and Chadian universities. This visit comes within the framework of Ain Shams University's continuous efforts to expand and strengthen its international cooperation network with neighboring and friendly countries. The university believes in the importance of scientific and cultural exchange in building bridges of understanding and fostering constructive cooperation between nations.
